28-02-2011 | Social Entrepreneurship for the Healthcare Sector The Task Force Health Care (TFHC) and MeduProf-S in collaboration with the Platform for Health Insurance for the Poor (HIP) invite you to attend the conference ‘Social Entrepreneurship for the Healthcare Sector’.
At this conference the public and private sector meet to discuss how the two can jointly work towards improving health care sector development in low-income countries while meeting their own norms and values.

2. Community Health Insurance in Uganda
Since 2000, Cordaid has been involved with two hospital based schemes (Mutolere and Nyakibale hospitals) and with MicroCare as a third party payer (Kisiizi hospital), as well as experiments with prepayment schemes in lower level units. Based on this experience and lessons learnt, Cordaid started to support CHI in four hospitals plus lower level units in the South West of Uganda. view this project
