The Task Force Health Care (TFHC) and MeduProf-S in collaboration with the Platform for Health Insurance for the Poor (HIP) invite you to attend the conference ‘Social Entrepreneurship for the Healthcare Sector’.
At the moment in the Netherlands there is much debate on international development. The sector should do with less money and in a different way. Now is the time to give the discussion more direction and a push in a public conference. Social Entrepreneurship is a relatively new concept for the Netherlands, where a business approach to international development is paramount. Experiences tell that this new approach can result in more efficiency and sustainability. During this conference you can learn about best practices from industry and the public sector.
Provocative panel discussions, workshops, and presentations of best practices, will challenge participants to think "out of the box".
During lunch and between the sessions there will be extensive time for networking.
Chairman of the day is Arend Jan Boekestijn, there are also contributions by Linda Polman (journalist / writer of ao "De Crisiskaravaan"), Marcia Luyten (journalist) Grant Rhodes (health economist), Peter Bongaerts (VNO-NCW), Christiaan Rebergen (MDG Ambassador), Cordaid, ICCO, HealthNet TPO., Philips and AmpC.
Here you can find the preliminary programme and a short description of the conference.
