Q: What is the aim of the Platform for Health Insurance for the Poor?

A: HIP wishes to promote the effectiveness of health insurance in low and middle income countries.

Q: How to become a HIP member?

A: Participation is open to all. Events will be published as widely as possible and the website is interactive to allow the initiative taker to share findings and experiences. Efforts are made to mobilize a list of active members willing to make concrete, financial or in natura contributions to the outputs of the platform. Contact the secretariat for a membershipform.

Q: What are HIP's activities?

A: There are four coregroup meetings a year. The coregroup consists of the organisations closely involved with the platform's establishment (see also list of participants). These meetings are focussed on the organisation but coregroup members also propose new initiatives. Furthermore there are 2 or 3 seminars, workshops or conferences each year to collect, disseminate and exchange information and knowledge on aspects regarding health insurance in low and middle income countries.
